More detailed information about the snowpack:

Thin snow cover conditions exist throughout the forecast area on all aspects at lower elevations, with wind scoured areas around and abouve tree line.  Firm and icey conditions where observed in the morning before sun hit it.  By mid day there was moist snow surfaces on flat terrrain and South and West aspects.  Some minor cracking was found in small superfical wind slabs in the lee of terrain features.  Still able to find decent skiing in sun and wind protected areas in the trees on North aspects.  Pit dug on a NW aspect,  not much slab in this area and no notible test results.
