More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Searched for Persistent Slab instabilities in Virginia Lakes Area. Dug a test pit on Black Mountain just above treeline 31 degree slope North facing. Found the chosen layer 68cm deep in a location holding 130cm. Stability seems to have gotten better or is unreactive in this spot. Breakable wind scab 1cm thick with small FCsf (near surface facets) to be noted. Avalanche Sign Board Updated
