More detailed information about the snowpack:

Highly variable surface snow conditions. As I traveled in the alpine I observed: Surface Hoar, Near Surface Facets, sun cups, raised trail or anti-tracks, wind scalloped & wind packed, & my favorite dry snow. Dry snow really only existed on North aspects in the shade, devoid of wind effect. The south facing cornice in the saddle was deforming its way down the slope. Average snow depth in skiable terrain 70cm(27.5")
