More detailed information about the snowpack:

Today we toured on a south facing slope above Koenig Lake at  10,000 ft.  Light wind and clear skies made for a warm day. We Left the Leavitt Lake road junction at 10:00 on snowmachines . The snow surface showed signs of a light refreeze last night. As we began the Ski tour above Koenig Lake the snow surface began to warm and ski Pen increased to about 4 in. We did not see any evidence of loose wet avalanches. When we skied the slope small roller balls were pushed down slope under our skis, and were easily manageable. Looking across the BWRA, the snow cover is fading quickly.
