More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Tour up Leavitt Lake road to ridgeline between Koenig and Leavitt Lakes.  Moist, soft snow surfaces up to 9600'.  Below treeline still had some good collapsing and whumpfing in the flats and open terrain but less than yesterday.  No shooting cracks observed.  Near and above treeline traveled through E and NE aspects on low angle terrain to 9882' with no cracking or collapsing.  Test pit was at this elevation on a NE aspect adjacent to ridgeline with some new wind load.  Had failures within the new snow and at interface with rounding facets about 50cm down.  No propagaiton on ECT.

Scattered clouds and 5* C mid morning, 8400'.  Overcast most of the rest of the day with some light (S-1,S1) snowfall for a few hours.  1.5*C 12:30pm at 9500'.  Light west winds, moderate at ridgetop with blowing snow.
