Many D1 avalanches were observed yesterday on all aspects & elevation zones. Several snowmobile triggered avalanches were created, as seen in photo #1. Almost all Loose Wet avalanches observed involved the uppermost surface snow. Track & ski penetration was around 4-5" near the end of the day. Sloppy wet surface snow with rapid melting.

Sun & calm breezes in the alpine. Overnight temperatures did not reach freezing which caused Loose Wet slides early in the morning.
