Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

We snowmobiled up to the Sonora Pass area this afternoon to have a look at the snowpack. Skies were overcast to broken with S-1 wet snowfall. Northerly slopes held mostly settled  dry snow. The top ~10cm of snow was wet on southerlies except for a thin frozen crust at the surface. No signs of instability noted today.

We dug a pit on a north aspect at 9200 ft near the bottom of Voodoo Bowl. HS was 170cm and there was around a meter deep slab up to 1F+ resting on weak 1-3mm facets to the ground. The deepest, weakest facets produced a propagating result in a Propagation Saw Test (PST42/145 (End) down 144cm). An extended column test produced no results on the facets but did produce a non propagating result under a wind crust 12cm down from the surface.
